Marikit Admana

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Management from San Beda University in 2022 with academic distinction. Throughout my tertiary education, I volunteered at Junior Bedan Law Circle’s "Lingkod Laya", our organization’s main initiative, which aims to restore the dignity of persons deprived of liberty through jail visitations, case follow-ups, conducting a series of paralegal training, and raising funds to organize medical missions. I was also part of SBU’s Student Council under the Research, Education, and Internal Communications Committee and co-chaired the council’s "BE DA Vote" event, which highlights the importance of electoral forums and policy discussions in genuinely understanding the Philippine political system through platform-based discussions.

Prior to joining Maison Chen Law Group, I became an 'English as a Second Language, teacher and trained and taught English learners to achieve fluency through conversation and grammar exercises. I was also a legal secretary at a full-service Philippine law firm and assisted our lawyers in preparing legal documents, court hearings, and processing requirements before government agencies.

To unwind and relax, I enjoy attending yoga classes and indoor cycling sessions. I love everything about food so much that I learned how to cook (although still learning) and experiment with recipes. Going to the beach, hiking or trekking, and taking outdoor walks (a.k.a., trying out restaurants, bars, and cafes) with friends and family are some of my favourite things to do.

Growing up, I have always believed in the “ripple effect”. No matter how big or small the things I do for others, I think they have a powerful impact creating a ripple effect that changes people’s lives. One good deed leads to another after another. Through this, it allows me to find a sense of connection and a sense of purpose.
